Esti-mate Version 5.6 is in a class of it’s own for REAL estimating!
Esti-mate, with a choice of Euro or Sterling Priced Database, is a powerful, yet affordable, range of Estimating and Post-Contract software with features usually only found in systems costing thousands of Euro more.
Esti-mate is a range of products for the Construction Industry with over 650 customers already in Ireland using it to benefit. The software has been designed to be simple to use and includes facilities for Estimating, Quotations, Bill of Quantities, Cost Planning, Subcontractor Enquiries and Comparisons, Supplier Materials Enquiries, Bill Import, Post Contract Valuations and Job Costing. Standard Esti-mate modules may be purchased individually at any time to meet your growing needs. Our new Esti-mate House Building Suite contains all standard modules but also enables the s et up your housing development by quantified House Types linked to Plots or Phases. Preliminaries and separate Siteworks bills can also be allocated to houses.
Esti-mate covers all sizes and types of job including small and large building projects and civil engineering work as well as specialist trades.
The Esti-mate product range will run on Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista. The software runs on most networks, provided that Windows is available. The programs are automatically set to run in single or multi-user mode, allowing more than one user in the same job at the same time. Esti-mate is not a spreadsheet application but a true database system.
Esti-mate can be loaded in less than a minute, is easy to use with no training on the standard version required. On-line help is available as well as a comprehensive User Guide document that can be printed as a manual. |

The Esti-mate software range is a fully integrated set of modules and includes:
Esti-mate Produces Quotations and traditional Bills of Quantities with descriptions and prices created from a choice of Euro or Sterling Priced Database containing Irish priced Labour, Plant, Materials and Subcontractor resources. It’s similar to having a Price Schedule Book built into the system. Dimensions may be taken off using traditional methods. Full analysis (screen and printed) of the job is provided, including resource schedules and elemental analysis. Library Resource prices may be rapidly adjusted with the job rates being automatically updated. Profits may be added at resource, work item or job levels. See also the House Builder Suite.
This Module may be accessed from within the Estimating module, or as a stand-alone program, allowing the enquiry process to be carried out in parallel with the estimating process. It enables the Bill Items to be allocated to different Trade groups. Packages may be sent out as enquiries to any number of subcontractors, using e-mail or printed documents. When quotations are received, the module allows comparison of their rates in a variety of ways. A subcontractor's rates may be selected for automatic update of the Estimate.
This Module may be accessed from within the Estimating module, or as a stand-alone program, allowing the enquiry process to be carried out in parallel with the estimating process. Materials schedules can be created and sent out as enquiries to Suppliers, using e-mail or printed documents. The quoted prices may then be compared and selected for automatic updating the Estimate prices.
Standard and House Builder - Valu-mate - uses jobs directly from the Estimating module to form a Contract, fixing the rates and quantities during the import. It values the progress of the contract or house building works and change management requirements in the form of periodic Valuations. It tracks Variations, Site Instructions, Dayworks and Materials on Site and Final Account with full analysis at every stage. Quantity to Date figures may be entered for individual Items or groups of Items using measured quantities, dimensions or percentage complete. Variations to the original Contract are recorded as work Items in the same manner as creating Items within the Estimating module. Original Items may be omitted as required. Full analysis of the work to date is provided and the Valuation Statement, including retention values, may be used as an application for payment. See also the House BuilderSuite.
This is a Stand-alone module which allows Estimates to be quickly and easily created from files produced by programs other than Esti-mate. It contains routines for importing CITE files, Microsoft Excel worksheets, CSV and ASCII text files created by word processors or scanning/OCR systems. Additionally, estimates may be rapidly created by entering a range of Sections, Pages & Items - with Items using the Section/Page/Reference (e.g. 2/4/A) as their text.
Esti-mate House Building Suite is a fully integrated solution, containing all modules, for the Professional House Builder / Developer. It provides extra facilities to set up your development by House types and link quantified House Types to Plots, Phases. Preliminaries and separate Siteworks bills can also be allocated to individual house types. Track progress of measured works whilst maintaining original budgets against revised budgets including: Measure WIP, also, by Tick Sheet Valuations, Dayworks, & MOS. Draw off the Priced Database or build and import your own Company’s House types database specific.
Industry standard euro or sterling priced libraries for rapid creation of elements (with rate build up) within the Estimate. Descriptions and Prices within these Libraries include Labour, Plant, Materials and Subcontractor resources. Database Libraries include Small to Major Works along with Civil Engineering and P & Electrical as an optional extras.
This was designed specifically for the Surfacing (Tarmac etc.) specialist. It allows rapid entry of Surfacing Items within an Estimate. The calculator allows materials and gangs to be selected, with the qtys. of materials (tonnes) calculated from density, compaction, thickness, waste and superage.
